We are so glad to have all our students back in-person full time! This week has been the first glimpse of “normal” in a long time, with middle and high school students wrapping up their first semester, winter activities up and running, and home games with spectators in attendance. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to make all this possible, and to our students and their families who have been flexible with us as we make these changes!
Earlier this week our very own senior student Cole Winkels received the Outstanding Youth award from the Staples Motley Area Community Foundation. Congratulations to Cole, and to all the other award recipients who were honored on Monday evening’s virtual awards banquet.
Lastly, I’d like to welcome our new board members, Jeremy Reeck and Lisa Anderson, who were seated earlier this month. They will join our veteran board members on January 25th to decide whether or not to move forward with our facilities investment plan by calling a special election for a single bond referendum question on April 13th. For more information on the proposed referendum, visit SMTimetoRise.com
Stay safe as you enjoy the wet winter weather this weekend!
