Thank you for your patience as we have evaluated the data within our schools and across our communities to determine which learning model we will return to school with on November 30th.
In order to best support student learning and mental health, grades 9-12 will transition back to hybrid learning on Monday, November 30th. As a reminder, grades 9-12 will report on-site for learning Wednesdays and Fridays, with off-site days Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Grades 7-8 will transition back to their normal hybrid schedule of three on-site days a week – Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with off-site days on Wednesdays and Fridays. PreK-6 will remain in in-person learning.
We are grateful that we can increase the amount of in-person learning for our students after our brief pause, and will continue to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on our school community and collaborate with our local health officials daily.
In order to continue prioritizing in-person learning for our students, we ask that you continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by monitoring for symptoms and staying home when sick, wearing a mask and social distancing when in public, and following the MN Department of Health’s decision tree to decide whether your child is well enough to attend school. It is a community effort to strive towards the goal of in-person learning for all students, and we’re counting on you to do your part.
I hope you are able to enjoy your Thanksgiving break. I am grateful for each and every one of you!
