Join Staples-Motley Elementary Students as they work towards their goal of reading 15,000 books and/or chapters from February 1st – March 2nd. Students will learn that reading can take them so many places as they complete their reading passports and work with their class to complete world map on their door. At the end of the month, students will celebrate their reading accomplishment with an “Around the World in a Day” Party!
Each Friday this month students will dress up to show their enthusiasm for reading!
February 4th – America Day (wear USA colors)
February 11th – Read My Shirt Day (wear something with print on it)
February 18th – Land/Sea Day (wear green or blue)
February 25th – Beach Day
March 4th – Dress like a Tourist Day
