ELECTION DAY IS MAY 14TH

Your voice and participation are IMPORTANT. On MAY 14th, residents will decide whether to make this investment in the future of our schools.

WHAT ARE RESIDENTS VOTING ON?

Residents will vote on two ballot questions:

Question number one is focused on investing in repairs and upgrades to our school buildings to meet the needs of our current students and students for years to come.

Question number two is focused on the Staples-Motley Activity Center.

WHY ARE WE VOTING ON THIS?

With no major investment in our core educational facilities since 1987 at the High School (Auditorium 1991) and 1966 at the Elementary School (Early Childhood 1996), our facilities are not up to today‚Äôs standards for safety, space, educational best practices or maintenance. State law requires voter approval of major capital projects which require bonds to fund them.
